advice it offered and you take in in mull it over and use what you feel is sound and dismiss what you feel isnt.So it doesnt matter where the source is from is it sound solid is it useable?I've never put my finger in the fire but i can advise you not to,advise you it will hurt like hell,and advise you to go to a&e if youre silly enough to still try it.Advise isnt always experience based.
