Default What do you do to help yourself feel better after a breakup?

Ok, so your dating someone- you are in that new, exciting butterflies in the stomach, frantic kissing, amazing passion, can't stand to be apart phase. Everything is great, you think. Without warning, you are told in an email that things aren't going to work out. You don't know why and you are left to wonder. What do you do to get over it and make yoursel feel better?Also, just a comment... Breaking up via email, I find it so tacky! It is taking the easy way out!AnnaBanana- funny! definitely not an odor issue. I am exceptionally clean and I take good care of myself. He kept telling me how sexy I smelled and he loved the lotion that I rubbed on everywhere...

Everyone has their own of feeling better. Some go out and get drunk, some go find a random hook-up, some eat a thing of ice cream.And breaking up via e-mail is sad, at least have the balls to make it a face-to-face conversation.

He broke up with you over email? What a butthole!!! Girl, get some friends, watch sex and the city with some wine! you can laugh and talk and heal. it helps me. I still can't believe he did that!! What a HUGE loser!! You're better off without him!

what do i do 2 make myself feel better is 2 listen 2 keyshia cole the singer and i think about all the things we been through and i say 2 myself he wasn't worth it

1.) Total make-over!! that means a new hair style and new clothes.2.) Hit the gym to shed off those unwanted pounds.3.) Meet and socialize with other people.P.S: Check if you have a body odor which makes him/her got discouraged..

Hit the spa, get a massage, facial, manicure, pedicure the whole 9 yards. Enjoy it and think to yourself, this body he will never ever touch again.

Yep, I agree doing it in an email is the total wussy way out.I would say to surround yourself with people&things that make you happy, will make you laugh, things that make you feel good. Don't sit there alone... go do something to help get it off your mind...go hang out w/ friends, go shopping, etc. Don't listen to sad songs! The best cure... fix yourself up nicely, make yourself look hot&go out there and flirt... when other people start looking at you&flirting back, that will help get your mind off it. Don't sleep with everybody that comes your way cuz that won't necessarily help, but flirting does... it's fun, it helps build your confidence back up&after a little while you'll be telling yourself"hey, it's THEIR loss!!!!"Besides, if that person is punk enough to do it in an email and can't face you, then you don't want to be with a chicken sh** like that!!! Punk a$$!!!
