prom advice???<<<<<<<<<breakup blues<<<<<<<<ladies help plz<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

OK, so i found out that the girl i wanted to ask to prom just broke up with her boyfriend around a week or 2 ago. i talked to one of her friends and she said she was just in the "i hate guys" mood. and she thinks she just wants to go single and not have to worry about a date.

however, the friend also told me that, "last year she told me she thought you were really cute." so i dint know now.

any advice? should i have her friend let her know i want to ask her or something?
the problem is we used to be OK friends and used to talk a bit. but for some reason we stopped talking for a few months now and i think it would be awkward to just go up to her one day after not talking to her and ask her to prom.

I'm trying to say hi and just start talking again but i ha vent been seeing her out side of the one class i have with her.

Tell her friend to tell her you'd like to take her if she wants to go with you. If she says no, it might be too soon, go and have a good time, you may hook up at the prom.

You should ask her, if she says no, its no big deal. Just ask someone else. Lets be direct for a change.

You should ask her if she still wants to go to the prom. If she says yes, then ask her if she wants to go with you. I hope whatever you choose to do, you will still have a great prom. I hope I could help a little.

Ok man to man try to talk to her at least once for a few minutes ask her how she has been and how she school is going. Then after that find her again and ask if she would like to go to prom with you if she says yes then cool she will go. If she says no then you haven't lost yet say you just want to go as friends and really be honest just go as friends spend time with her there dance with her get to know her more and then maybe she might want to know you more. It worked for me and now we are going out.
