well ok me and my boyfriend of one month broke up, because we were fighting all the time. he broke it off with me, and i was hurt at first, but now i KNOW its for the best. But for some reason when i see him with other girls it drives me crazy. Before we dated, he liked this girl... and now he is going to be partners with that girl in one of our classes that we need partners for. And it just really hurts to see him with her (they aren't dating) but it gets the jealous side of me. I don't want him back or anything, but i'm still hurt by the fact that i'm not his first priority anymore, and he hasn't really paired with me in any classes since we broke up. (we're still close friends though). i just need to know what i should do when i'm dealing with these kinds of situations. I'm the jealous type ... and please give me one of those really good answers that actually read the whole question. thanks.
Find some guy you like, but dont actually want to do anything with, and when you get jealous, think of him instead of your ex. Fantasy guy, or mcdreamy or whatever you want to call him, think of him instead of your ex.Jealousy is completely natural and fine, but dont let it take control of you.
Let the dude go. He's not yours anymore. You guys have already agreed on the break up so move on. I'm guessing he was your first boyfriend? You will be alright don't think too much about it.
OK I read the whole question...and I really dont know what it is you want us to say. There isnt anything you can do. EVERYONE gets jealous after a breakup, even if they dont want the person back. Hell, just the other day I took a look at my ex's Myspace page and flipped out at the ho's on his friend list, and I dont even have feelings for him anymore! Its just residual resentment and jealousy left over from wanting to still feel #1. I think a lot of us secretly want our ex's to never get"over"us, because if they move on, they might be with someone"better". And everyone likes to feel like they're #1. Thats all.You'll get over it.
