Do you think its chicken to breakup with someone by text?

or just plain mean? thats what my friend did. i mean when you think about it, there's really no good way to breakup w/someone so why not text?

Yes, you are a chicken if you text message that. Its rude and makes you seem like a careless person. How would you feel? if a girl you really liked just decided one day to text you saying"umm. its not goin to work out... im breakin up with you . bye"

Texting someone to breakup is completely juvenile. Have a little respect for the person that he or she is dating. They probably didn't ask them out with a text message.

thats not only chicken, its awkward. if you break up with someone face to face, you can explain to them why youre doing it and it wont be as awkward when you see each other around because youve explained yourself. but if its over a text, its just gonna be weird because you didnt really talk to the person about it. it could be mean because maybe the person doesnt get why youre breaking up with them, and they deserve an explanation. give em a little more respect.
