Sorry for all the break up questions. But, does it sound bad.?

One of the reasons in which he broke up with me. Was for the fact that he thought our relationship was based on sex and we didn't have a relationship. But, is it wrong for the fact that when I was around him that I wanted to be intimate with him. We already worked together. So we saw each other all the time and we would talk at least once a day on the phone. Now when did guys start caring when a girl wanted to be with too much intimately? But, really my main question. Does that seem bad or normal for a young 20 year old?
