I have broken up before but this is my first really big breakup. I am 19 and we were together 3 years. It was my idea to breakup with him and I know I did the right thing in the long run but thats not making it hurt any less. I just want some advice on things, legal things, I can do to keep my mind off of him.
This takes a couple of months but, here my advice. Go out on dates with many different men. Constantly switch form one to the next, keep doing this until you no longer want to call your date by your ex's name. Thats when you know you have offically moved on and are ready for another serious relationship.
Hanging out with friends really helps,or doing things that you enjoy,or make you happy.Not things that make you think of him.I know how you feel.Sitting around only makes it worse
