my 11 year old son has just started dating. his girlfriend is his friends ex. any advice?

hello i think u should keep your eyes on whats going on with your son and girlfriend and go from there .

the people that are say in he shouldn't be dating are not Wong but not with the modern day high school! (no of fence)
but if he 11 he is in yr7 , if i am correct??? but at my old school yr7's dated lo adz, i know it seems strange but its how it goes!

That`s way to young to date, still at primary school year 6! Try and encourage him just to be friends with this girl, and to hang out as a group. Sometimes they call it dating when all they do is go out together, hopefully that`s the case as when he gets older he may be tired of just holding hands!

First dating his Friend's ex might spoil his relationship with his friend. Secondly, I hope you're ready to be a grandma by the time he's like 16, because it seems like you're encouraging him, at least even if you do, not at that age. But then again the world is turning upside down so its not surprising..............

let them hang out at the house or take them to the movies,or order movies on the TV so you know he is safe and at home having fun

why are you letting an 11 year old date?

stay out of it. If you interfere you are just gonna end up in the wrong just offer him a shoulder to cry on if you can!

I wouldn't be too worried. Chances are he is pretty innocent and it is good that he is socializing with both genders... 11 year olds have feelings too, keep this in mind. I feel as though many people forget what it feels like to be that age once they grow up.

It is a confusing situation .......

he should be playing with little cars and trucks and enjoying his childhood.
