Default I need a bit of female advice?

I have a white discharge from my vagina and was wondering if its maybe thrush. It gets a little itchy occasionally but not really that bad. Its also in my bottom a little too I've been sick on antibiotics and things. How do I get rid of it without doctors etc, Like home resources? Thanks for your help. You mean plain yoghurt like greek yoghurt? How long do I keep it in there for. Its mainly jus on the outside not really insideAlso do I need to get a treatment like from doc/over the counter for it to go away or will natural things eg yoghurt work just as well?Haha sorry.. To the last question I am sexually active but this happened before the last time I had sex because I was sick for two weeks on antibiotics. Also i'm on the pillany more help plz?

If you do have a Yeast Infection (thrush) a good way to get rid of it at home is PLAIN yogurt.Place a tampon in the yogurt and insert. Change three times daily until infection is cleared. You can also place the yogurt on the outside of the vagina to clear the outer infection.Drink lots of water.

It is a yeast infection. Go to the store and get some monistat but make sure you get the one with both medicines in it. The internal and external creams, not the one day kind.

Thrush is very common after antibiotics, becuse the AB's kill all the bacteria, both good and bad, and wipe out the population of good bacteria or"normal flora". One thing you can take to help re-establish the good bacteria is live acidophilus culture capsules, and/or eat yoghurt (natural is best, sugar encourages the overgrowth of yeast) which has live cultures in it. Natural yoghurt can also be applied topically"down there", although this can be messy. Another home remedy is to rinse down there with a very diluted vinegar solution. Good luck!

It sounds like it may be a yeast infection. Get some over the counter medication such as monistat (the 3 day seems to work best). I would also advise taking acidophilus. Acidophilus may work by helping the body maintain normal consistency of bacteria in the stomach, intestines, and vagina.
