Attracted to a female friend, she is african american- advice?

I have a female friend, well she works at my job I find her quite attractive, we talk when we see one another, but thats about it. She is single, no kids, and very attractive. Its something about her, that draws me in. I cant really explain it. She is african american and I am caucasian. I have to admit, I am somewhat intimidated to approach her and ask her out. Any advice

as long as she isn't like Britney then go for it! talk to her most likely she won't say anything mean. ps. i like ur name...i found my nubian queen! awwwwwh.and also, don't listen 2 britney she's just mad cuz noone likes her!
