Some lucky women will have a period that lasts only three days. Others will have it for as long as seven.3. Unfortunately, you will be surprised by your first period. After a while, you will start noticing the signs that it is coming. You might feel cramping a couple of days before. Keep track on the calendar and notice how many days apart they come. When you know it is coming, wear a panyliner just in case. That way you won't have an accident.4. Tampons are difficult to put in when you are young. You may want to wait a few years for those. If you decide to use them, be assured that they don't hurt! If you put them in correctly you don't even feel them.
