How much do I tip my good friend who is giving me a $20 hair cut?

Sometimes tipping to much can be just as much of an insult as tipping to little. I've always cut my own hair, or gone somewhere very cheap like a barbor, or a chain like sport clips where I've never tipped. I have not seen my friend in a while and I kind of want to talk to her too, so I made an appt. for her to cut my hair. How much do I tip?

if it is a good friend, give them 100% tip. that what i always got. unless it was like 50$ or over. but 20? come on! it's your good friend!

I would find it awkward giving a friend money.Why not suggest going out for a coffee and you will pay. You can say it is to catch up on all the news.

about 5 bucks its fair... now if it were a perm or coloring it tends to run more and i usually tip for that at least 10-15.. but then again i usually buy her products she sells for her line of shampoos to it evens out..
