How can I help my friend find her teddy bear hamster?

My best friend lost her Teddy Bear hamster today (or at least we think she lost it today) and it got out of her cage by herself. She is so mad and upset that I just have to try every possible way to finding that hamster! She has a 2 story house, and has lots of furniture in it. What can we do to find Goldie (the hamster)!? PLEASE HELP US!

Put out some snacks and food that it likes to lure it out of hiding. It will probably get hungry in the evening, when it is most awake, and coming looking for food.

well heres steps :1.) shut all of the doors2.) put food in middle of each room3.) every few minutes look in each room for it eating4.) check dark places like under beds in closets and that sort of stuffhope i helped this has happened to me lots of times and i know how your friend feels and just to let you know once a hamster has found a way out its gonna remember that way and keep getting out so you might have to catch her in the act of escaping so you know where to secure the cage

Also if they have wooden floors you can put a sprinkling of flour around each possible hideout overnight; this'll let you track any hamster movements. Or put little piles of favourite food out, close all doors and see which one gets eaten. Then make a humane trap by putting some more food in a plastic bucket on top of a layer of sawdust. Make a small ramp going into the bucket; the hamster will jump in to get the food and won't be able to get out..

1. Put the cage on the floor and leave the door open, no matter how amusing everything else is they are still more intrigued by the wheel in their cage and will go back to run on the wheel. They are that stupid, really.2. Take a Bucket and put a cloth on top of it put some food in the center make sure theres a way to get to the top. When the hammy gets on top of the cloth it falls in and since they cant jump so high it will be stuck.
