girl friend advice be her friend or forget about her?

when i first got involved with my current girl i asked weather she wanted to stay together when we went to uni, 6 months down the line she says she doesnt want to be together when we go to uni. i love her to bits and she says she loves me but she says she still wants to be my friend still and when asking what sort of relationship we'll have when we meet up outside of uni she said we'll still sleep in the same bed im not stupid and she isnt either something will eventualy happen because i still want her, part of me says to hell with her and just forget about her but i dont want to say that to one of girls who i have loved the most. i dont want to be a situation were we are together in every sense of the word apart from formually. all my mates say shes playing me and i'll be here bit on the side. Advice should i forget about her, just be her friend or do something else im really not sure weather i could just be her friend

it sounds as though she wants to be free to explore all options.if you do love her then be her friend there is nothing wrong with that.but have no expectations that she wont meet someone and become involved and then you need to consider how you deal with that. go out meet someone else yourself and try dating other people,perhaps the fact that you had a relationship will and are now friends you can then ask advice on what is it that girls really mean when they say ....
