annoying friend? advice needed ASAP?

okay well my friend just started theatre.....and she thinks because she was the chorus in her first play that she's soo talented [and she really can't sing......or act]im not trying 2 be mean, honestly its jsut so hard for me&my friends to hear every day how she brags about her non- existent talent......meanwhile some of my friends and i (who have worked on theatre all of our lives and are really great) don't say anything about ourselves.i know it sounds petty, but it's really annoying all of us........advice?

I see two options. First try ignoring her. When she brags, pretend you didn't hear her or acknowledge what she said. If she keeps pushing it and demands an answer just say"that's nice"in a dull tone. People that brag are only doing it for the attention. They want and require a reaction.If that doesn't work for you then you should definitely confront her about it. Tell her that you (and other friends) don't like it when she brags or shows off and find it very annoying. Try to be nice about this and don't seem to pushy but make sure she knows how you and your friends feel.
