How can I help my friend cope with the death of her beloved pet?

Tonight my friend's beloved dog, Ivan passed away at 11:34 PM from a massive heart attack. I want to help her cope with her pet's death and be there for her. Can you tell ways I can help my friend.

comfort her.talk to her about all her happy memories with her pet.then get her a gift.

maybe if u got her a picture frame with her and her pet or just her pet maybe help her remember the good times with her pet

Even if you're holding her hand, send her a sympathy card. I'm not kidding but it would help her to think about a modest memorial service for her friend. . . you might propose it and help by inviting a couple of other friends and you can talk about how much Ivan enriched all your lives.
