Default friend advice needed....?

I know this girl who is a bit older than me and she lives in a different state to me but still we always talk online. she has recently told me that she is feeling very lonely in life. she is the youngest of about 9 kids and all her siblings have got kids and her mum is always concentrating on the kids and her dad who i think is very sick. she cant even remember the last time her mum called her. her and her best friend since she has been like 9 havent seen each other in like 2 months and a few months ago her new-ish boyfriend cheated on her with one of her sisters. she also has pcos and just a few weeks ago another guy dumped her online for a girl who he was dating online previously.her life is really messed up right now and she told me she was on antidepressents but she doesnt think she needs them her doctor made her take them and she told me i was the only 1 who knows she is on them.what can i say 2 her?is their any advice i can give her to help her thru this difficult time?

Let her know that you're there to support her, that if she ever needs anything, you'll be there for her. And if she doesn't want to be on the pills, GET HER OFF THE PILLS! Sometimes they can have the opposite effect. If she doesn't want to be on them, then she shouldn't. But keep close to her, make sure she's okay. Like the other person said, just be there for her.

Just be her friend. Always be upbeat when you are talking to her. If she gets down and depressed then try changing the subject. I know that it's hard at a time like this but there are so many people out there that have it so much worst then we do. Send her a funny cute card....maybe every week. Good luck!

tell her to get more involved with the family and all if she wants to get attention from her parents (who doesn't?) , she should look for more friends and be more sociable , if she doesn't have a best friend then its because she doesn't trust people enough (can't see how she will after that jerk cheated on her)as for the guy , forget him he is an idiot , its life , sometimes you get it sometimes you don't , do not tell me you start getting depressed because you tripped and fell , its the same , its part of life , you just happened to meet a good actor
