I've never had a real guy friend......ADVICE?

I'm 19 years old and a college student at a community college. I'm a huge football freak. I never had a guy friend in my life; and I really want at least 1 guy friend that I can rely on......I'm tired of being who I am...no one would want to become friends with me....I always have dreams of having tons of guy friends and playing football all the time with them....and then I wake up feeling sick to my stomach.Everytime I try to make friends with a guy...it fails...I tried to make friends with this guy in one of my classes last semester and all of a sudden he wouldn't look or speak to me nomore....i wish i could throw a football at his face now.....im sick and tired of having no guy friends.....it too annyoing.....all i have is my girlfriend who never wants to hang-out...Advice?

Maybe they think you're homosexual. Just don't throw yourself at people or try to force friendships. It make them a bit wary of you and make you look like a desperato. Just hang in there....friendship can sometimes sneak up behind you and nip you in the butt before you know it. Just start by saying'hey'or making small talk which can grown into a whole conversation and before you know it you'll be aquaintances with them and then friends. It will take time.
