My best friend seems to have found a new best friend - advice really appreciated?

My best mate Dave is trying to copy a friend of his at work (kevin) in every sense. I mean, hair, personality, music taste, car (modified it in the same way)...it just doesnt seem like him!Weve been best mates for like 5 years and over the last 3-4 months he seems to have massively changed. Anyway, after telling him how i felt he said everything was cool but seemed to ignore me still - so i pretty much ignored him for 6 weeks solid taking the attitude im not going to hassle him. He didnt like it and seemed frustrated by this but I didnt seem to have any other solution.This week he seems to be bothering with me more after i told him that he never bothers with me now so why should i bother with him - but hes still distant&constantly goes on about Kevin. The last straw tonight was that we were supposed to be going to a show in september&Dave has now managed to get a 3rd ticket for Kevin. Its actually really getting me down and I dont know what to do. Any advice would be greatBeing completely honest ive met Kevin a couple of times and I cant stand him! Ive got other friends but I value Daves friendship....maybe I should move on and just forget him because I wonder if I value his friendship more than he values mineYea i have wondered if hes gay as hes never had a G/F to my knowledge - but he talks about girls etc. I dont have a problem with him being gay - will still be his mate. I like to think I would standby my friends regardless, which is what annoys me soo much as I dont feel its reciprocatedThe problem is as well he seems to want to hang out with me'out of sympathy'or at least thats how it feels. You know - seems to be going a bit over the top - like offering to repair my cars stereo on sat. then do something monday....then ignores me for a week. Im confused! lollol well he is dressing identical - infact on facebook you can see both their profiles......and the resemblence now is uncanny. In one they are both wearing the same shirt, hair brushed forwards, doing similar things......and thats just 1 photo!....i think its definitely Dave copying Kevin and not vice versa....and wonder if it is annoying Kevin!

Being replaced is hard, but rejection is part of life.
