When a guy likes a woman more than just a friend? Advice?

Please advise me. If a guy likes a woman as more than a friend...I mean if he would like to have her as his girlfriend, then how does he behave with her. I mean if he flirts with her, how does a woman know that he is not just'joking'her? Sometimes, I get really confused and don't know if a guy is just complimenting me or if he really has feelings for me. Guys, especially try to give me some good advice.

I agree, it can be difficult to tell the difference between a guy who is just"playing"and a guy who is genuinely interested.Patience is the key.Trust your female instincts.If you think a guy likes you, he probably does. Pay special attention to his body language ...Does he look at you when you're in a crowd ?/ Does he willingly look you in the eye ? (for a longer time than usual... 4 seconds or more) ? / does he tease you ? (good sign) / Does he stare at you when he thinks you're not looking ? Sometimes men are shy so it's important to recognize the signs.But whatever you decide his feelings are for you : be careful not to be too pushy. Time will tell ...

this is not an easy question to answer and there is a couple of questions you need to ask yourself (you need to know him quite well to answer these).1. Is this guy's known for going out with alot of women?2. Does he always make eye contact with you, or look at you when he thinks you arn't looking?3. When was the last time you saw him with anyone.4. Does he try to impress you when you are speaking to him?these may seem like pretty dumb questions but if you think about them you can gain the answer to your question.If a guy has gone out with alot of women then he is more self confident with himself. More likey if he has not asked you out then he only wants to be friends.If this guy in question makes eye contact with you but doesn't follow it up don't be disheartend as it is probably because he is shy. this also covers questions 3-4 as shyness and the need to impress are often the same quality in a guy but just expressed different.If he really likes you but does not want to get hurt, his flirts and compliments maybe his way of hoping you'd ask him out. From what your question reads I am guessing that he really does like you but is afraid to act upon it incase he gets hurt.Best advice for you would be just to ask him.Guy arn't that complicated to understand. Most of us are scared of rejection and once been hurt badly never want to feel that bad again and build up a defense against our feelings.Hope that helps!!
