well use a mint, no one wants smelly breathe. use chap stick, but not too much, you don't want your lips caked with it. bite your lip and that shows him that you want to kiss him. get really close to him, then lean in a little bit. once you're close enough you'll know what to do.
honestly there are no tips people can give you about this. just tell yourself that there is really nothing to be nervous about. i promise you, you will know what to do in the moment. it may be a little awkward at first, but it always is with a new person. Once you get used to each others rhythm everything will be fine.
Although it might seem impossible, try not to be nervous. Trust me! It isn't as bad or scary as everyone works it up to be in their mind. Why do you think people enjoy kissing so much? Cos it's good! Just follow his lead. Be slow and gentle. Copy what he does. It really isn't as hard as it seems now and will be over with before you know it.
