Look her in the eyes. Apparently you can tell if the time is right by looking them in the eyes. If you are going for a peck, just do it. For a full out lip lock, I recommend breath mints, chap stick and smell good.
EIGHT DATES and tonight is the first time?! Um well the first time my boyfriend kissed me it was at my house so you should do it at her house instead of your car, it'll be cuter that way. Just kiss her softly and for a few seconds and yes pop a mint.
