haven't had first kiss yet. any advice?

i just turned 17 and i haven't had or boyfriend or kissed/hooked up with anyone yet. I'm not weird, ugly or antisocial I'm just shy when it comes to guys. all my friends are always talking about how/who they've hooked up with and i feel so left out! my little sister who's 14 just talked to me about how she made out with this guy for the first time, which makes me feel even worse. there is this one guy i like but i don't have the guts to talk to him without it being awkward. what should i do??
and BTW there are no cute/decent guys at my school who are not already taken or man whorish

try your best, work on talking to him through a mirror I'm sure sometime it'll happen, and it will be magical cause then your parents wont be mad at u for kissing so young! good luck~

It's not a big deal, I didn't get my first kiss until I was 19. I know a girl who's 21 and hasn't kissed anyone.

Well for one thing you shouldn't feel bad just because you haven't kissed a guy yet! A first kiss should be special and you will always remember it no matter what! don't turn into someone your not just to get a kiss. Try to come out of you're shell a little when you're around guys I'm sure they will fall in love ^.^ As for advice just be yourself, and don't try too hard just don't think about it too much. I hope this helped!

Wow, sorry about the guy situation at your school. I have a similar problem with the girls here. XD
If you want to talk to the guy, you just have to make it not-awkward. I know it's easier said than done, since I have faced the same problem. You could probably find out what he likes to do or where he hangs out (Not like a stalker, though- just enough that you can be in the same place) and plan to be near him so that you can break the ice. And be sociable, but not super talkative, because that's like saying you want him to know about you and you have no interest in him.
