how long should i wait to try french kissing?

my ff and i have been going out for 2 weeks and we are sexually attracted to each other but we decided to wait to have sex because we want to make it special and she wants to make sure I'm not with her to just have sex. We started kissing the first day we were going out and i want to be bold and take the lead. should i try to see if she wants to french kiss, or should i wait, i dint want to have her want me to and have to take the lead.
yeah I'm thinking of just slightly brushing my tongue on one of her lips quickly while were lip locked to she if she responds. good idea?

I didn't know that anyone kissed without their tongue unless it was asexual, such as with a relative. Couples just giving each other little pecks seems bizarre to me. If I were you, I'd just have the kiss go in that direction. I'd be amazed if she objected.
