Lastnight was both our first time French kissing and she said it was awkward and wants to wait awhile to do it again. What does this mean, does she still like me? How do I make them not awkward?

Sounds to me like she tried it and didn't like it so by telling you that you should wait a while she is probably hoping that you'll forget her.

I'm sure she wills till like you (personally i think its a bit shallow to not like someone because french kissing them for the first time was awkward, especially when it was her first time too!) so I'm sure that's not the case. I think you just need to wait a short while to try it again but maybe just 'normally kiss' if that makes sense! because the longer you leave it the more awkward it will be whee you do it again! just let it happen spontaneously. when your just kissing, try just turning it into a french kiss, go slowly and see how she reacts

Any new activity is awkward - relax she is just saying she did not know what to make of it. I also suspect you make a rookie mistake of simply shoving your tongue in rather than carefully probing in and out exploring her inner lips with your tongue and finding her tongue tip with yours. The key is having fun and if inexperienced moving slow. Giver her time - she will come around
