do you like fantasy?
the boy (Jonah) and his girlfriend (Eleanor) are on vacation. they go on their way to Hawaii. the cruise is nice and the people are very welcoming. it is night time when the two of them are awoken by the sudden jerkiness of the ship. Jonah grasps Eleanor's hand and they are both positive that they are going to drown. they say their farewells before all goes dark. when they are awoken, Eleanor is laying on the ground of a soft beach. she looks around for Jonah and finds him a few feet away. she scrambles to him, slaps his face, and he opens his eyes. they are happy to see each other and embrace with "i love you"s and kisses. suddenly they are wrenched apart by a group of tribes people. the strangers think that Jonah and Eleanor are the god and goddess of their people. the young couple are taken back and stare at the others in disbelief. for a few weeks they are worshiped and so on and so forth until Eleanor finally realizes that this is not the life for her and disappears into the wilderness. Jonah is forced to engage one of the tribes people. he agrees. before the wedding Jonah misses Eleanor. he betrays his new people and searches for her. the tribe chases after them and hunts down the young adults. the wilderness catches on fire around the two after they are reunited. they are engulfed in a white light that acts like a force field. they look into eachother's eyes then at the people. jonah gives a speech of freedom, love and peace. but most of all, eternity with the one that he loves the most. eleanor and jonah pray to the gods and goddesses, when they notice that their awful plan did not go as well as they thought. eleanor is murdered by an arrow from the angry people as it goes through her heart. she falls to the ground. jonah pulls out the arrow, and plunges it into his own heart and he falls on top of her. even death could not separate true lovers. where they died a beautiful golden rose bush grew from the earth. the roses are all colors, even blue and green, symbolizing the fact that new birth comes from every death.
