Just in the beginning of last December (2010), I met this wonderful girl that meant the world to me (and yes I'm a girl too). We became very good friends, talked HOURS on end thanks to Skype, have had mic/video conversations, and we share so many common interests, views, and opinions its truly unbelievable. Little did I know, I was falling for her too at the same time--and the best part about this story? She was as well.
We officially have started 'dating' since this past Wednesday.
Am I crazy? Truly, in all reality I feel like I've known her for practically all my life, we always say to each other "Where have you been?" all my life and sweet messages, describing why we love each other or why we admire each other so. Honestly, whenever I get home I jump on the computer and can't wait to talk to her, she always finds a way to wander into my mind, and she knows how to make me feel good, laugh and smile more than I have in YEARS of my life.
But its odd...I dunno why but I don't feel like I'm in 'complete' love with her. Am I weird for saying that too? One time in my young life I was intensely in love with someone, it was so extreme I would've been willing to die for this person. But with her...I'm not sure--I would gladly do anything for her, but I'm not sure if it's that extreme.
She plans on coming out here in Wisconsin (where I live) to meet me face to face this summer, and she has even told me that she has been looking up some universities here in Wisconsin because she is about to graduate High School this year. Help me please? I don't know what to do...I know I really care about her, but I can't really be sure, my heart and head is so confused.
It's always sensible to listen to your head. If you have even a little doubt then why don't you wait until you meet up this summer and see how you feel about her then.
well it is great that you to are going to meet well you must really like that girl that is good and now you are meeting her you two might to know each a bit better and hopefully have a good time with each other
Maybe you're confused or scared because it might turn into a girl/girl relationship (if this is a first to you), but just ask yourself these questions:
- When you stop talking with her, do you miss her?
- Would you really like for her to visit you?
- Would you have a positive reaction if she (out of nowhere and you 2 were alone) kissed you?
- Are you going to be happy when you see her?
- Would you at least defend her if someone bullied her or hurt her?
If you said yes to all of them or at least most of them, then you do like her.
you may be in love with her, but you feel that your not complete because you've only known her since December. you keep saying i feel like its been my whole life Ive known you but you know it hasn't been. that's why it feels incomplete. you have to spend a few months in person with her. then you ll know. good luck. Well, for a start, is this your first lesbian relationship? If it is, then that might explain why you don't feel like you're in, to quote you, "Complete" love. It'd be a new and unfamiliar feeling, so it'll take a while until you can get into the rhythm.
But from what it sounds like? Yeah, you probably are. Congrats, I'm jealous and I hate you :P (Kidding, kidding...)
Also, don't worry about dying for anyone. True love means you'd rather live for them, anyway.
I think you are over analyzing things only you know if you are in love with her I think you might feel more of a connection when you meet in person their is something impersonal about typing even with the Skype I think sometimes to people bring out different facets of our personalities and maybe you ladies will end up having the quiet kind of love the kind you do not have to shout from the rooftops the kind that just is I sometimes think this is better because sometimes flames that burn very high also flicker out whereas a small Spark eventually lights a big fire
