How to help somebody you love without hurting them?

Ok this is the case. I found out that somebody i love very much has a problem telling the truth... or to be even more specific, i think that person lies a lot. I find it pretty sad and i don't know if saying it to them would like make them depressed....How can i talk about it?, i feel very uncomfortable seeing how they make up stories when they don't need to. I also think they are aware of their problem but perhaps don't know how to start fixing it?Any suggestions?

tell them you know that they lie constentlysay people are talking and that there getting a bad reputationsay that you care for them and you dont want them to screw themselfs over

When you love somebody you are not afraid to tell them the truth. It seams someone has a hard time loving or trusting another. You should never hold back, be true, and within that you are truthful and stand by your absolutes. Dont slack in a place where your other has. Stay tough and strong yet loving and greatful.

you just have to be straight up honest.dont worry so much about hurting their feelings.they need to know that what they are doing iswrong and the karma will come back on them.tell them that you just want them to realize t hatthis is not healthy and that you really love and careabout them, but this habbit has to come to a stop.You can be loving and tell them, but be stern so thatthey get the message. Good Luck. Hope all goes well.PSI've been in a situation similar to this not that long ago.They get their feelings hurt at first, but it makes them lookat themselves. They then come back and say, Ok you were right...I need to work on that. At least in my case that was how it worked. But you have to be loving and stern at the same time so they get the message.

when u love ppl u should always be honest with them, ask them why they feel the need to lie all the time, say that u notice they lie alot, bring up some examples of them lying if they dont realize they do it and then go from there. sounds like a compulsive liar
