do you follow the love advice you give to your friends?

No, I don't follow the advice I give my friends. Why should I? We're different people, dating different people, living different lives. Ha, and I guess I am willing to put up with crap but I don't ever want to see my girl friends with a jerk. It's that whole,"Do as I say, not as I do"thing.

sometimes it is a double standard... you tell your friends what might work in their situation to make it better, but if you are in the situation yourself its harder to do.

It's easier to give advice then take it, same with yahoo answers. I give advice but I probably don't take the advice I would give someone else.

neither. When I'm on the outside looking in, its easy to see where someone else is a jerk. But when I'm dealing with my own relationship I get sidetracked by sex. It sucks, its like if I could only abstain long enough to get him out of my system, I could make better decisions or at least stick to decisions. it sucks.

you aren't any of those....i know for sure coz i am exactly like you.my friends come to me for advice regarding their relationships coz they know i would give them good advice since it's just something i'm good with. problem is, i can't follow my own advice when it comes to problems i have that are close to what they had.it really is difficult to follow your own advice, that's normal. which is why our friends are there to give us pieces of advice when time comes that we need it.like they say, it's always easier to solve a problem when it's not your own.
