Philosophical question on love and duty ?

This is a moral and philosophical question, I would ask from those who answer this question that they do it with at least a paragraph,What is more important to fallow, you conceptions of Love, or your Duty?Definitions of Love and Duty are appropriate and acceptedscenario's are asked for if you can provide them as to why you believe the way you do.As a point of clarification, the Duty is to something larger than your self, but your duty is not to love, but more to something more along the lines of country or God, in less you actually believe that Love is all you have Duty to.

In a way, doing the duty that you stated relies on love. So this is a way that can go different ways. If your devoted to just love, you would not have anything to live for except what you love. If your devoted to duty only, you would have nothing to love. If you have a healthy balance you can do anything.But note to men, If all you have is love, do not lose your"masculine heart"
