Love LyricsThe lyrics of love songs give us direction as to what love is about. They are the tunes that remind us of what we have, or what we want throughout or day.

My husband Gary passed away 12/2/10 from an aortic aneurysm after making it 76 days in the ICU fighting for his life. He was only 28 yrs old. We have a 5 year old and an 18 month old. I miss him so much. He was the love of my life and my best friend. I am looking for some love/missing you songs to remember him and help grieve.
I am not sure if this is a song about missing someone but I know it has a man die in it and they are sad its called The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia by Vicki Lawrence or Reba.
Do you remember the song from Titanic, by Celine Dion? "You are here in my heart, and my heart will go on and on". I still think it's lovely. I'm so sorry to hear of this tragedy and hope that your love for him and your children will see you through
I wish you all the best. My heart is heavy to hear of your loss. He will live on through you and your children, so I'll suggest "Teach Your Children," by Crosby Stills and Nash.
One more thing. Please do yourself a favor and change your user name to something more anonymous. There are plenty of folk on this site who have unsavory reasons for being here. I was able to learn more about your husband through a quick search from the info you provided, and I don't think you want that kind of invasion of privacy. I had no malicious intent whatsoever, and I apologize if I have in any way offended you. The reason I was moved to learn more was the reason I first answered your question: I have a marriage that after 20 years faces possible divorce, with two kids. I came to this site tonight feeling desperately sorry for myself and ready to ask for help. Instead I saw your question and it gave me perspective on my sorrows, as you can imagine. Yet my sorrows are real and so are yours, and we each face the challenges of life and death in our own ways. Still, I do not envy you the job of raising two young kids while grieving and knowing what they are missing. My wife and I may yet make it, we may not, but we have done a great job with the kids so far. If you need parenting advice in the future, for God's sake don't ask on this site, you'll be advised corporal punishment ... Anyway, take care of yourself and if you want a correspondent going through his own grief, indicate so in your response and I'll figure out how to contact you. I have only best intent. Good luck to you.
