Love Quotes Many times love quotes express our feelings in ways that conversation can not carry. They can clarify our minds with simple words containing nothing but pure, love binding metaphors.

My favorite love quote is:"I am like a falling star who has finally found her place next toanother in a lovely constellation, where we will sparkle in the heavens forever."-Amy Tan.I don't remember which web site I found it at, though. But if you type"Quotes About Love"you can get a bunch of websites.

"They were all beautiful with the blinding beauty that transfigures even the plainest woman when she is utterly protected and utterly loved and is giving back that love a thousandfold."Margaret Mitchells,"Gone With the Wind", page 170"I know what your heart is capable of: it can cling faithfully to a recollection and cherish a fancy, but it can't feel such an attachment as mine deserves to mate with, and such as I would have won from a woman more generous than you. No, you are not worthy of the love which I have devoted to you. I knew all along that the prize I had set my life on was not worth the winning; that I was a fool, with fond fancies, too, bartering away my all of truth and arduor against your little feeble remnant of love. I will bargain no more: I withdraw. I find no fault with you."William Makepeace Thackeray,"Vanity Fair", page 711

1)"For where thou art, there is the world itself, with every several pleasure in the world, and where thou art not, desolation."-Suffolk to Queen Margaret, speaking of his desire to never leave her (even though he must - or he will be murdered by his enemies):"Henry VI, Part 2"Act 3, scene 2, lines 362-364, W. Shakespeare2)"Doubt thou the stars are fire,Doubt that the sun doth move,Doubt truth to be a liar,But never doubt I love."-Polonius quoting (reading) from a love letter that Hamlet wrote to Ophelia"...I love thee best, O most best, believe it"- from the same love letter-"Hamlet"Act 2, scene 2, lines 116-119&121-1223)"I love you to the moon and back."-Big Nut Brown Hare to his child Little Nut Brown Hare in Sam McBratney's"Guess How Much I Love You"(and anecdotal)4)"Though still in bed, my thoughts go out to you, my Immortal Beloved, now and then joyfully, then sadly, waiting to learn whether or not fate will hear us - I can live only wholly with you or not at all - Yes, I am resolved to wander so long away from you until I can fly to your arms and say that I am really at home with you, and can send my soul enwrapped in you into the land of spirits - Yes, unhappily it must be so - You will be the more contained since you know my fidelity to you. No one else can ever possess my heart - never - never - Oh God, why must one be parted from one whom one so loves. And yet my life...is now a wretched life - Your love makes me at once the happiest and the unhappiest of men - At my age I need a steady, quiet life - can that be so in our connection? My angel, I have just been told that the mailcoach goes every day - therefore I must close at once so that you may receive the letter at once - Be calm, only by a calm consideration of our existence can we achieve our purpose to live together - Be calm - love me - today - yesterday - what tearful longings for you - you - you - my life - my all - farewell. Oh continue to love me - never misjudge the most faithful heart of your beloved.ever thineever mineever ours"-This is one of the'Immortal Beloved'letters written by Beethoven to a mysterious lover (now believed to be the younger woman Antonie von Birkenstock). There are two other sweet letters, but I think this one is the most romantic and sweetly angst-ridden.
