How do I start a romance story of my own?

Uh, I would not recommend writing, if you are just feelin an urge to write because you've read Twilight. A waste of time and energy.But as for generating idea's there are several good ways to approach it, and it's always best to find which works better for you:The first is create a situation: Create a random situation dream on it and try out characters and how they'd react to that situation and from that create a plot or characters, or settingStart of with an idea: Any idea at all, a word, a moral, anything and develop. Like the situation but in another context.Thirdly: Again like the other two, create a character, create their lives, hates etc, and from there start building a world around them.Not many, but could help. And goodluck.Remember to take criticism and use it to improve. Not everyone will like what you write and you must accept that and do what works for you. But don't be so blind as to think that because one person likes it, everyone will, they were probaly just being nice.

People write because they have something to say, if you have nothing to say, and no ideas, it is better to wait and meditate on it until you know what you want to say. Only then can you start to look on how and where to start. You could try to think about what you would love to experience, plus what you have experienced, or at least what you yourself would enjoy reading.By the way good luck. You will need it.

The best thing in that situation is simply not to start. Wait until an idea strikes you, and start then. Even if initially it's only a paragraph.
