Default Read any good love stories lately?

I recently read all of the Nicholas Sparks books and loved them. Since then I have not been able to find any love story novels that can keep my interest. Nicholas Sparks is such a good author when it comes to the love stories. Can anyone recommend any love stories that would be similar to these books, or if you're not familiar with him, can you just recommend some good love story novels? Not Harlequin romances...I am well over 35, so no teen books please. Thanks so much! I've read several of these, but please keep the suggestions coming!!

Well, do you want to try something a little disturbing? It is a love story alright but has some very controvertial issues. Read LOLITA by Vladimir Navakov.

oh my gosh!well, I've read a series recently, I finished it in about 3 days over all, and I loved it.The last 3 books were a thriller romance thing but the first one was she tried to nab the guy and didn't work but they ended up getting together in the 2nd book lolbut like, the first book is Blue is For Nightmares, then White is for Magic, Silver is for Secrets, and Red is for Rememberance. I just finished the 4th one, and sadly, it's the last one. It's about a girl named Stacey who has nightmares/dreams about the future and people being killed. Then she has dreams about her best friends and people close to her. It's really good.

Hmmm...If you like fantasy, try Crown Duel by Sherwood Smith. It takes a bit (about half of the book) to reach any true romance but its worth it (and the book is amazing anyway)- Fantasy and more geared for young adultsPride and Prejudice by Jane Austen -HistoricalTwilight by Stephanie Meyers - vampire and geared towards young adultsThe Secret History of the Pink Carnation as well as it's sequels by Lauren Willig -HistoricalSummers At Castle Auburn by Sharon Shinn-fantasyAnd I know that you don't want harlequin, but you really shouldn't judge before reading romance novels; try anything by Jo Beverley (the Malloren series and the Rogue series are the best) or Gaelen Foley.
