War stories with romance in them?Am reading A farewell to arms, and read and liked Atonement and The English Patient, so something along those lines.Ah yes, Birdsong was on my to-read list.

I've watched this movie lots of times and it still gets to me. the love story is not the romantic type, but rather filial. I highly recommend this movie but it MUST have good subtitles since it's KOREAN. The title is TAEGUKGI (Brotherhood in English)
