Default Mature Advice: A Male friend at work....?

recently surprised me with a book he bought me that was sitting on my desk w/ a note basically saying, Don't be afraid to dream. It was a beautiful, most touching gift. He is aware I am in a relationship but after the book, he asked if he could buy me lunch. casually, with no flirt intended, I said sure. We ate at work and simply talked about traveling, work, weather. he comes to talk and say hi, no"direct"flirting. I want tos ay he likes talking and hanging out w/ me but I don't know.He just let me borrow a few CD's as well. He saw my tatoo and I todl him it was based on a song and he said he can guess which one it is, the next day he did.Why is he on top of it with with me? Is he just friendly and sweet?Am I overreacting?Mature advice please.Note: I don't mind his presence, in fact, I need friends like him to conversate with, I have none, literally.

Maybe he too is just looking for a friend and is a really good guy. Enjoy each other's friendship.
